Overturned tractor-trailer accident cleared on the BQE, ramps reopen

An overturned tractor-trailer on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway that spilled trash across the road and caused delays for hours Tuesday morning has been cleared.

A tractor-trailer overturned on the BQE spilling trash and causing delays Tuesday morning.

BROOKLYN - An overturned tractor-trailer on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway that spilled trash across the road and caused delays for hours Tuesday morning has been cleared.

It happened on the northbound lane near Tillary Street around 4:30 a.m.

The entrance ramp from Tiller Street was temporarily closed, but has since reopened, officials say.
