BROOKLYN - Students and parents at P.S. 119 in East Flatbush marched to end violence today as part of an annual Peace Day event.

This year's march drew attention to the recent death of a classmate, who was shot while playing basketball on school grounds just two weeks ago.

Administrators said that students also made a pledge to be peace builders and help spread the word against violence.
