BROOKLYN

The Department of Education will decide which of the City's public schools will be phased out, co-locate, or shut down during a vote at Brooklyn Technical High School.

News 12 Brooklyn will have the result of the vote Tuesday morning.

The city's Panel for Educational Policy vote affects 19 Brooklyn schools. One of those schools may have to close their doors and the rest may be forced to share a building with several smaller schools.

At one point during the meeting, the rowdy crowd in attendance began to chant "shame on you" to the panelists and Chancellor Dennis Wolcott.
