NEW YORK - A Brooklyn couple has landed a spot on Time Magazine's Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world.

Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are the songwriters responsible for a number of tunes featured in Disney's 2013 family blockbuster, "Frozen." They won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Let It Go" this past March.

The couple joined actress Fran Drescher in Midtown Manhattan to announce the nominees for the 59th annual Drama Desk Awards, which awards excellence in Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.

Drescher says she was very excited to hear that she would be presenting with the Lopezes.

The Park Slope natives say wrote their Oscar-winning song while standing on a picnic bench in Prospect Park, which provided plenty of wintry inspiration.

The couple says they have already gone back to Prospect Park to find inspiration for more songs, hoping to remain a strong influence in the musical world.
