Park Slope neighbors take on loud bar

BROOKLYN - Some Park Slope residents are taking a stand against a local rooftop bar, which they say is keeping them up at night.

Neighbor Joanna Chitko says the Vue bar on 4th Avenue is so noisy that she can feel the vibrations of the techno music at her apartment. The bar stays open until 3 a.m. every day of the week.

After the tenants of a nearby building wrote a petition, asking the bar owners to change their policies, the Vue's management installed a soundproof awning. The bar is expected to have the entire rooftop space enclosed by mid-October.
