BROOKLYN - Parkgoers at Prospect Park are blasting cleanup efforts there for the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

Despite garbage receptacles across the park, people say there has been tons of leftover barbecue items found, including beer cans and half-eaten corn on the cob.Volunteer crews have tried to help clean up the park, but some areas leave a lot to be desired, according to parkgoers.The Department of Parks and Recreation says crews have been cleaning up all weekend and will continue to be sent out until all of the trash is cleared.
