BROOKLYN - A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle in East Flatbush. 

Authorities say it happened just before 6 a.m. on Utica Avenue. 

The 30-year-old victim was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital. His identity is pending family notification. 

The driver stayed on the scene, and no charges have been filed at this time.
