BROOKLYN - An elderly woman was killed last night after getting hit by a car on Bay Parkway.

Police were called to the scene at around 9 p.m. and found King Fong, 79, unconscious on Bay Parkway near 72nd Street. She was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

According to police, Fong was trying to cross the parkway when she was hit by a Dodge Sedan. The driver remained on the scene.
