BROOKLYN - A pedestrian is recovering after getting struck by an SUV in Kensington.

Police say a man in his 20s was walking near Ocean Parkway and Beverley Road when he was hit at around 10 p.m. Tuesday. The driver remained on the scene.

The victim is in the intensive care unit at Kings County Hospital, but is stable and is expected to be OK.

Officials say the driver likely won't face any charges.
