BROOKLYN - Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed on Fort Hamilton Parkway after being hit by a Lincoln Town Car.

The 55-year-old victim was crossing 39th Street at the time of the accident. He was rushed to Maimonedes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Police say they are not filing criminal charges.
