BROOKLYN - Some New Yorkers are fighting for a pathway that will let them walk or bike from Brooklyn to Staten Island.

A Change.org petition has collection more than 400 signatures so far asking for a pedestrian walkway to be installed on the Verrazano Bridge.

The petition's creators say the bridge is the last missing link to complete the Harbor Ring, a 50-mile circle around the New York City harbor that is both walker and cyclist friendly.
