BROOKLYN - Two people were killed following a two-car crash outside Kings Plaza in Marine Park. 

Authorities say 20-year-old Philbert Williams and his passenger, 18-year-old Christina Wipper, died after the Nissan Maxima they were traveling in crashed into an SUV and a pole. 

It happened at Avenue U and Flatbush Avenue at around 6:30 p.m. Monday. Witnesses say the vehicle was speeding through the busy intersection before the accident. 

The people inside the SUV suffered minor injuries.
