A man is dead after police say he suffered a medical episode while driving this morning.

Police say Phillip Crucilla, 47, was heading westbound on Sutter Avenue when he went into cardiac arrest and crashed his SUV into a pole. He was found unconscious when police arrived and was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No one else was injured in the accident and police...
