BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - Police are searching for two men they say pose as New York City Housing Authority maintenance workers to gain access to Brooklyn apartments and then rob the residents at gunpoint.

Police say the men struck Monday at the Atlantic Terminal Houses in Fort Greene and Tuesday at the Roosevelt Houses in Bed-Stuy. According to the Atlantic Terminal victim, the suspects came to her door in NYCHA uniforms. Once inside, the woman says the men flashed a gun and bound her hands and feet with duct tape.

In both incidents, the men ransacked the apartments and stole money and jewelry.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
