CROWN HEIGHTS - Police have released photos of the suspects wanted for their involvement in the possible hate crime assault of a Hasidic man earlier this week in Crown Heights.

Police say the 19-year-old victim was walking south on Kingston Avenue at around 9:40 p.m. when a group of eight men approached him. One of them allegedly punched the victim in the face and they all fled the scene. The victim refused medical attention when police arrived.

The eight suspects are described as black and either in their late teens or early 20s. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
