BROOKLYN - The NYPD is asking for help finding a group of young women who they believe sent a teenage girl to the hospital after a vicious subway station attack in Crown Heights.

Investigators have released clear surveillance images of six women who allegedly beat up a 16-year-old at the Botanic Garden stop back on Jan. 23.

According to police, the victim and a friend were walking along the train platform behind the suspects when they started an argument that quickly escalated to punching and kicking.

The teen fell to the ground, breaking her ankle, and was treated at Kings County Hospital.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
