Pianos pop up across NYC to promote the arts

Fifty pianos have popped up across New York City, including Brooklyn, to promote the arts in city communities.

In Brooklyn, 13 pianos can be found in Grand Army Plaza, Coney Island and Brownsville.

GRAND ARMY PLAZA - Fifty pianos have popped up across New York City, including Brooklyn, to promote the arts in city communities.

In Brooklyn, 13 pianos can be found in Grand Army Plaza, Coney Island and Brownsville.

The musical instruments will be on display for the next two weeks.

At the end of the program, the instruments will be donated to community centers, elder care facilities and schools.
