Piece of Bed-Stuy building falls to ground

BED-STUY - A piece of siding of a vacant Bedford-Stuyvesant building went crashing to the ground overnight.

Neighbors say no one was injured when debris landed on the front yard of 297 Bainbridge St., but say the building has long been in disrepair.

The city's Department of Buildings says the building is not in danger of collapsing.
