BUSHWICK - A new playground, designed by Brooklyn kids, for Brooklyn kids was unveiled at P.S. 274 in Bushwick Tuesday. Students worked with an architect and planners from The Trust for Public Land (TPL) for three months to create their vision. The $1 million playground includes a basketball court, gazebo, jungle gym and picnic tables for students and locals to enjoy. The P.S. 274 Kosciuszko Community Playground is one of 25 kid-designed parks that will be built citywide through a partnership with TPL and the Department of Education.
