BROOKLYN - The holiday blizzard that has slammed in to the Brooklyn has once-bustling streets looking almost desolate.

Plow-equipped trucks have inherited the streets as most drivers try and stay off the roads, if possible.

But as one local resident says, he must go to work and has no choice but to brave the conditions.
