BROOKLYN - The new app “Pokemon Go” has taken the nation by storm.

Since it became available for download on mobile platforms on July 6, there has been an estimated 15 million downloads.

It has become the most active app used in the country with over 21 million users.

The mobile game is like a real-world scavenger hunt that lets users “collect” virtual critters that appear on their phone screens as they explore the real world.
