BROOKLYN - Members of the Coney Island Polar Bear Club braved the frigid winter temperatures Sunday as they ran in the waters off the boardwalk.

Dozens ran into the frigid waters off the snow-covered boardwalk.

The group says this is the best time of the year for the frigid dip.

Group members take the plunge into the chilly waters every Sunday.
