Police: 1 injured in shooting at Bed-Stuy playground

Police say the 20-year-old victim was playing basketball on the El Shabazz Playground around 2:45 p.m. when shots rang out.

BROOKLYN - One person was sent to the hospital after a shooting in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Sunday.

Police say the 20-year-old victim was playing basketball on the El Shabazz Playground around 2:45 p.m. when shots rang out.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

Investigators have not identified the victim. They say that the victim is being extremely uncooperative.

Police have not said how many suspects they are seeking in the shooting.
