BROOKLYN - Police say three people were shot, one of them fatally, when a gunman opened fire in Brownsville.

The triple shooting took place on Rockaway and Livonia avenues. Police say a 38-year-old man was shot in the shoulder and was pronounced dead on the scene. A 32-year-old man was shot in the stomach and a 26-year-old man was shot in the foot.

Both are in stable condition at Brookdale Hospital.
