BROOKLYN - Police say a teenage girl was brutally raped and then tossed off the roof of a Brooklyn building by two men.

The incident happened on Sunday at around 4 a.m. on Miller Avenue near New Lots in East New York.

Police say the suspects, 26-year-old Antonio Owensford and Anwar Desouza, lured the 16-year-old to the roof of 725 Miller Ave., where they both allegedly raped her.

Officials say that after the sexual assault, the two men threw the victim off the back of the roof.

The girl survived the three-story fall and was taken to Brookdale Hospital with injuries to her leg, arm and neck.

Police told News 12 that Desouza, who lives in the apartment building where the incident occurred, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault, rape, committing a criminal sex act and strangulation.

Authorities are searching for Owensford, who is still on the run.
