BROOKLYN - Police have released new video of an armed robbery in Williamsburg.

Authorities say on Thursday, Jan. 16 at around 8 p.m., two suspects entered a MetroPCS store at 187 Havemeyer St. They say the suspect approaching the counter brandished a firearm and demanded the employee to remain still while the other suspect went behind the counter and stole nearly 40 cellphones.

Both robbers then fled the store.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
