THE BRONX - Police say that two women were attacked four days apart in Throgs Neck.

The first attack occurred on the 900-block of Hollywood at around 2 a.m. on June 21 while the 22-year-old victim was walking home from her job at Villa Barone Manor.

Police say a man caught on surveillance video followed the victim, grabbed her from behind and told her to shut up. They say he wrapped his arm around her throat and held his hand over her mouth to muffle her scream for help. She was able to break free and get away from her attacker.

Four days later, on June 25, police say another 22-year-old woman was assaulted on Swinton Avenue.

Officials say the victim screamed when she was grabbed and was pushed to the ground. The suspect then took off.

Police describe the suspect in the surveillance video as a Hispanic man, around 5 foot 9 inches tall with black hair and around 180 pounds.
