Police: 3 injured in East Flatbush shooting

BROOKLYN - Police say three people were shot in East Flatbush early this morning.

Police say three victims were shot near Cortelyou Road and East 29th Street. Two of the victims were 19 and 20 years old. All three are recovering at Kings County Hospital, according to police.

The shooting follows a violent weekend in the borough.

Police say a triple shooting at the Sheepshead Bay Houses left two people dead and one wounded. Crystal Sweet, 22, and Timothy Walter, 29, were pronounced dead at the scene early Sunday morning. A third victim, 30, is in critical condition at Kings County Hospital.

Official say no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
