BROOKLYN - Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a robbery in the borough.

Police say a 35-year-old woman was walking into her home on Washington Avenue July 28 when the suspect came from behind and grabbed her purse.

They say the victim tried holding onto her purse, but the suspect pulled on it, causing the woman to fall into a pole, injuring her arm.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
