BROOKLYN - Police busted five people for gun possession in two different incidents near P.S. 368 on Tompkins Avenue over the weekend.

The NYPD is cracking down on illegal guns near the Bed-Stuy school, which has gone on lockdown five times this month after hearing nearby gunshots in the neighborhood.

According to cops, Equan Slade and John Abreu were arrested for carrying 11 guns at the Tompkins Houses. Three deli workers were also arrested after allegedly trying to sell a stolen iPhone to customers, which led to the recovery of two loaded guns.
