BROOKLYN - Police say seven renters have been scammed out of their security deposits for apartments in Bed-Stuy.

Police say the suspect shows apartments that don't belong to him, takes a security deposit, then leaves renters out in the cold.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-30s. Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
