WILLIAMSBURG - A Brooklyn man is facing murder charges after a woman believed to be his girlfriend was found dead in her apartment.

Melissa Torres, 32, was found in her bathtub at her Clymer Street home on Sunday.

Police say they were called to her apartment at around 7:30 a.m. after Torres didn't answer calls from her family. Torres' 2-year-old son was also found in the apartment.

Angelo Sanchez, who is believed to be Torres' common law husband, was later arrested. Neighbors say Sanchez was aggressive and intimidating.
