Police arrest suspect in Crown Heights strangulation death

CROWN HEIGHTS - Elected officials are thanking police for making a quick arrest in the death of a Crown Heights woman. Gloria Boney, 69, was found on the bedroom floor of her Union Street apartment Sunday. The medical examiner's office says she was strangled and stabbed. Detectives arrested 51-year-old Anderson Scrubb and charged him with second-degree murder. They didn't release a motive for the slaying.
