Police arrest suspect in hit-and-run of BK woman

BROOKLYN - Police arrested a suspect this morning they say hit a Brooklyn woman with his SUV in Midtown Manhattan and left the scene.

Police say Ricaury Pena, 28, struck the woman with his car Saturday. The car later hit a guard rail and flipped over onto Harlem River Drive.

Police say it's unclear whether Pena intended to strike the victim. She is in critical condition at a nearby hospital. Pena faces charges of assault, vehicular assault and a DWI.
