Police arrest teen accused of vandalizing dozens of buildings

BROOKLYN - Police say they have arrested a teen in connection with dozens of vandalisms throughout the borough.

Officials say 19-year-old Rasheed James, who used the tag QUE, vandalized 86 properties, including two churches and a day care center, causing more than $50,000 in damages.

Residents say they are glad to see the arrest because the graffiti had become a nuisance.

Police say James faces multiple charges, including making graffiti and criminal mischief.
