Police arrest teen in fatal shooting of 14-year-old

BROOKLYN - Police say they arrested an 18-year-old last night in thekilling of a teenager in Crown Heights.

Tyrek O'Hara-Morris was shot in the head near the intersection of Troy Avenue and Park Place Wednesday night.

Police say Dequan Edwards, 18, has been arrested on charges ofsecond-degree murder and weapon possession. Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly says the victim may have been part of a gang. However, family and friends say the victim just got mixed up in the wrong crowd.
