Police: Barber killed in botched robbery

EAST NEW YORK - Police say two East New York barbershop workers were shot, one fatally, during a botched robbery Monday night.

Shots were fired inside 635 Sutter Ave. late Monday night, killing a barber known as Butchy and hitting another barber in the leg, authorities say.

Neighbors say Perfect Touch Unisex Salon had recently opened in the area, but had a lot of customers.
