Police say businessman Stark left South Side Associates, located at 331 Rutledge St, on Thursday at around 11:30 p.m.
He was then allegedly approached by two suspects, who struggled with him and forced him into a light-colored 2006 or 2007 Dodge Caravan. The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on Broadway.
Police say it is believed that Stark was carrying a large amount of money at the time. They say he has ownership interests in 17 properties around Brooklyn, as well as one in Queens.
A funeral service was held late Saturday evening in Williamsburg as the local Jewish community came out in support of Stark's family.
Police say they are investigating Stark's death as a homicide.
