Police: Burglar strikes at Park Slope clothing store

PARK SLOPE - Police are searching for the person who broke into a Park Slope clothing store and made off with about $3,600 in clothing Thursday.

Mark Davidoff, the owner of Rivet, says a dozen pairs of jeans, some blazers, handbags and gloves were stolen from the store after someone jimmied the door open and made off with the merchandise, all in about 20 seconds.

Davidoff says fortunately, he has a number of security cameras that captured clear images of the burglar.

A reward of $2,500 is being offered by Davidoff to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest of the perpetrator. Anyone with information should call the store at 718-857-7008.
