Police: Cellphone store robbers sought

BROOKLYN - Police are searching for the suspects wanted in a string of armed robberies at cellphone stores around Brooklyn.

Investigators say on multiple occasions, at least two suspects entered AT&T and T-Mobile stores in Marine Park and East Flatbush.

Officials say the robbers would show employees a gun and force them into a back room. They would then grab as much merchandise as they could before fleeing.  

Police say the suspects have conducted this type of robbery at least five different times, with the first incident occurring on Aug. 16. The most recent robbery occurred on September 10.

Police are asking any with information about the robberies to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
