Police have charged a 31-year-old Brooklyn man with murder after they say he stabbed his mother with a sword at her Prospect Heights home this

BROOKLYN - Police have charged a 31-year-old Brooklyn man with murder after they say he stabbed his mother with a sword at her Prospect Heights home this morning.

According to authorities, the body of 55-year-old Yannick Brea was found at 501 Park Place. They say her son, Michael Brea, was in the apartment with a 3-foot sword.

Neighbors say they heard a terrifying argument coming from the apartment throughout the night.

Officials say Brea is an aspiring actor who appeared on ABC's "Ugly Betty". He has no history of prior arrests.
