Police chase in Brownsville ends in crash; 3 cops injured

BROOKLYN - Three police officers were hospitalized after a wild pursuit in Brownsville ended in a crash today.Witnesses say an out-of-control driver in a red SUV caused multiple car crashes on Linden Boulevard, but didn't stop and simply sped on. The driver was chased by police and the pursuit ended with the SUV plowing into a police car on Rockaway Parkway by Lenox Road, say passersby who were at the scene.Three police officers were hospitalized, but their current conditions are unknown. Police have not announced the driver's identity or any charges he or she may be facing.
