BROOKLYN - A school in Brooklyn was evacuated Tuesday following a direct bomb threat, officials say.

Students were evacuated from M.S. 88 in Park Slope after school officials say they received the threat over the phone.

Police swept the building and determined there was no credible threat.

The principal says students were walked about three blocks away from the school while officers conducted their search.

School officials say students were brought back inside to resume classes around 12:30 p.m.
