EAST WILLIAMSBURG - Police say a cyclist who was hit by a car in Williamsburg this morning has died.

A 26-year-old man was struck by a vehicle at Stewart and Metropolitan avenues earlier Monday morning. Police say he suffered head trauma and died upon arriving at the hospital.

There is no word yet on whether any charges will be filed. Police say an investigation is ongoing.
