Police: Elderly woman punched, robbed in BK

BROOKLYN - Cops are on the hunt for a man who they say attacked and robbed an elderly woman in the borough.

According to police, the 88-year-old was followed into a Saratoga Avenue building where she had her purse stolen after being punched in the head. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video and is described as being in his 20s and about 6 feet tall. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
