BROOKLYN - Police are expanding the search for a 7-year-old Brooklyn boy who went missing in January.

Patrick Alford was last seen at his foster home in Starrett City, according to police.

A source tells News 12 Brooklyn that police searched Highland Park last weekend, but found nothing. They plan to expand their efforts across Brooklyn, the source says.

In February, police set up a mobile command unit near Alford?s foster home.
