BROOKLYN - A falling bottle seriously injured an 11-year-old boy on Flatbush Avenue in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens Monday, police say.

Witnesses say the bottle fell from an apartment window above the street, and it struck the boy in the head.

The FDNY says the boy was taken to Kings County Hospital with head trauma. News 12 is told he's expected to be OK.

Police are looking at surveillance video from nearby stores for clues.
