BROOKLYN - Police say a man robbed a father and son at gunpoint this morning in Bushwick and stole their vehicle.

A family member of the victims says that the father and son were inside a warehouse on Johnson Avenue when a gunman handcuffed the men, tied them up and stole their money. Authorities say about $300 in cash was taken.

Police say the suspect, described as a Hispanic man in his 50s, also took the father's paramedic vehicle, which was used for the volunteer ambulance group Hatzolah.

The ambulance group is comprised of hundreds of Jewish volunteers throughout Brooklyn that assist with emergency medical needs. A Hatzolah source says volunteer paramedics tend to use their own personal vehicles equipped with lights and sirens.

Police say they have recovered the vehicle but have not made any arrests.
