Police find, arrest BK woman who escaped from custody

BROOKLYN - Police have found the Brooklyn woman who they say escaped from custody on Thanksgiving night with the help of her companion.Investigators say 28-year-old Janine Power was arrested after robbing a cab driver. While cops were transporting her to Brooklyn Central Booking, Power escaped from the back seat of the police car.

Police found Power and 41-year-old Anthony D'Angelo, at a mobile gas station on Coney Island Avenue.

Both were arrested and charges are pending.
