FLATBUSH - The FDNY and NYPD have released the identity of the woman who died in the Saturday night fire on East 29th Street that destroyed a six-story apartment building.

Mary Feagin, 64, died when the apartment building's roof collapsed due to the intense fire, which spread rapidly through the six-story building due to 50 mph winds. According to deputy fire Chief Stephen Moro, Feagin was in an area of the building that was impossible for firefighters to reach.

The fire injured 11 residents and 20 firefighters, and displaced more than 100 people, who are being sheltered at a nearby school. Officials are still trying to determine what caused the fire.
